Indiana Certified Emissions Repair Facilities
Indiana Certified Emission Repair Facilities employ at least one technician who has successfully completed a 60-hour training course in the diagnosis and repair of emissions failures. These facilities also maintain specific equipment and tools that are necessary to properly diagnose and repair emissions failures.
Only repairs performed by facilities listed in this document will apply toward a waiver on a model year vehicle that is newer than 1981.

Vehicles can be inspected beginning in October of the year before they are due to be tested. There is no need to wait for a notice to arrive in the mail, just bring in your vehicle prior to its registration expiration.
