The Clean Air Car Check vehicle emissions testing stations are looking for friendly, dependable team players to deliver excellent customer service in our test lanes.  We have openings for the following positions:

Part Time Registration Clerks:  Responsible for processing BMV transactions at our seven emissions testing stations in NW Indiana.  Candidates must be energetic, detail oriented and possess outstanding skills in the following areas: sales, customer service, organization, and computers.

Part Time Lane Inspectors:  Responsible for performing vehicle emissions tests, selling BMV services, and delivering excellent customer service.  Candidates must be outgoing, friendly, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

All positions require a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and successful completion of extensive background checks.

Equipment Technicians

Industry - leading provider of auto emissions testing in Northwest Indiana seeks Equipment Technicians.  Responsibilities include installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of all equipment in the vehicle emission inspection program including: microprocessor controlled gas analyzers, blowers, pumps, compressors, motors, drives and dynamometers.  Also responsible for supervising and/or performing facility maintenance at testing stations to include all building support systems i.e. plumbing, electrical, hvac.

Position requires an associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.  Knowledge and experience in automotive technology and repair preferred.
